Great to go back to old stomping grounds in Daytona Beach, Florida, recently! I'm sure my teachers would be amazed to read my book, and even more surprised to know I wrote one. LOL The Seabreeze Junior High School building where "Woodshop Mischief" took place no longer exists, but my alma mater is still there! A lot of changes can happen in 50 years; in fact, it took me a while to get my bearings. I took time to explore and eventually found a familiar section in the back of the school grounds. Looking back toward the beach, where I used to daydream looking out my classroom window, now stands condos and hotels blocking the view of the beach.
